Mooresville, NC (July 3, 2013) – Looking for a bit of luck this weekend, Tommy Baldwin Racing is hoping that the No. 7 Florida Lottery car to be driver by Dave Blaney is an instant winner at Daytona International Speedway.
Welcome back, Florida Lottery: After a top-20 finish in the season opening Daytona 500, the Florida Lottery returns for a second trip around Daytona International Speedway with the No. 7 Tommy Baldwin Racing Chevrolet.
Celebrating their 25th anniversary, the Florida Lottery has paid more than $37.7 billion in prizes to winners, enjoyed a mutually-beneficial relationship with more than 13,000 retailers and generated more than $25 billion for education.
Blaney on Daytona: “Heading to Daytona, it will be good to have the Florida Lottery back on my No. 7 Chevy. We had a good run in February with a 17th place finish, and we’re hoping to have some luck and avoid the Big One for another good finish for TBR and Florida Lottery.”
Blaney by the numbers: Blaney has 25 starts at Daytona, with an average finish of 26.6.
Did you know?: When not in his Cup car, Dave can be found at various short tracks across the country racing his Sprint car. Taking his love of dirt a step further, Blaney will be taking a NASCAR Camping World truck to Eldora Speedway in August. He has hopes of qualifying for the inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck race at the historic dirt track.
