Mooresville, NC (June 12, 2013) - Traveling to the “Irish Hills” of Michigan, both Tommy Baldwin Racing drivers JJ Yeley and Dave Blaney will be celebrating Father’s Day at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) this weekend.

The MIS track is well known for its D-shape that features moderate banking and blazing fast speeds. After being repaved in 2012, the NASCAR Sprint Cup cars have been turning speeds of over 195 mph.

Meet our drivers: Want to meet Dave Blaney and JJ Yeley while visiting MIS? They will be making appearances at the Team Chevy Racing display on Sunday at 9am. Both Yeley and Blaney will participate in a question and answer session followed by autograph signings.

Blaney on MIS: “We’re looking forward to a fresh start with the No. 7 SANY America Chevy team this weekend. We’ve run into bad luck the past couple of weekends. The guys at the shop worked really hard, we have a good car and I’ve had some great finishes at MIS in the past; hopefully we can get back out and get another Top 10 this weekend.”

Yeley on MIS: “Michigan is one of my favorite tracks on the NASCAR circuit; I really enjoy racing the two-mile track. The new Gen-6 cars will be fast this weekend and we’re looking to have a great finish with the No. 36 Chevy.”

Blaney by the Numbers: With 24 starts at Michigan, Blaney has three Top-10 Finishes. His average finish is 26.5.

Yeley by the Numbers: Yeley has just nine Cup starts at MIS and boasts a Coors Light Pole Award in 2007. His average finish is 36.6.
