NASCAR Championship Winner Bobby Labonte Joins Tommy Baldwin Racing for the Brickyard 400

Huntersville, NC (July 21, 2014) - NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Bobby Labonte joins Tommy Baldwin Racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Crown Royal Presents the John Wayne Walding 400 this weekend.

Labonte will be piloting the No. 37 Chevrolet, sponsored by Accell Construction. Accell Construction has been a partner of Tommy Baldwin Racing since 2009 and acts as a primary sponsor on the No. 7 of Michael Annett for six races throughout the year.

“I am excited to have Bobby Labonte come on board this weekend at Indy,” team owner Tommy Baldwin said. “Bobby and I are good friends, and I know that his experience both on and off the track will bring a lot of great information to everyone at Tommy Baldwin Racing. I’m looking forward to seeing the impact Bobby will have, and great Brickyard 400.”

“I am thankful for the opportunity given to me by Tommy, getting to run my 21st race at the Brickyard means a lot to me,” said Labonte. “Jeff Gordon and I are the only active drivers to run all the races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and I am glad to continue that quest with TBR.”

I always rooted for bobby when he was in the slim jim busch car and any other car he was driving.. I always liked dave blaney, sorry it did not work out with him. good luck and I will surely be watching the 37 car on sunday. always like tommy Baldwin and now I have another reason.
