Huntersville, NC (October 15, 2014) – Coming off another solid race weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Reed Sorenson and the No. 36 Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix team are heading to the high banks of Talladega Superspeedway.

Of the 38 weekends of racing, restrictor plate races such as Talladega are unpredictable. The key to winning a restrictor plate race is being in the right place at the right time. This style of racing lends itself to underdogs and fan favorites, which is what makes these events popular.

Meet Reed / Appearances: Sorenson will make visits to both the Chevy display and the Sprint Experience this weekend. Stay tuned to the TBR Facebook and Twitter accounts for details.

Charlotte Recap: Starting 30th, Sorenson and Crew Chief Todd Parrott had to contend with pre-race rain which resulted in a change in track conditions. Making adjustments throughout the race, Sorenson brought home a 27th place finish.

Sorenson Says: “I am excited to be heading to Talladega Superspeedway this weekend with Zing Zang back on board my No. 36 Chevy. We’ve had some great runs at restrictor plate tracks this year, including qualifying second at Daytona in July. Our team has come a long way this year, it would be awesome to put this entire team in victory lane on Sunday.”

Did you know?: Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix was established in 1996 by Richard Krohn. Bottling his famous Blood Mary recipe and distributing it throughout the country, Zing Zang made mixing a drink simple – add ice, vodka and enjoy.
